Talatona Plaza Residence is a mixed-use real estate development located in Talatona, within the expanding urban district of Luanda Sul, Angola. Developed at a time when Talatona was emerging as one of Luanda’s most important residential and business areas, the project played a role in shaping the early phase of this new urban centrality.

The development was promoted by Vilangola, an Angolan company established in 2009 through a partnership between the Irmãos Chaves Group and the Angolan company Jopik. Conceived as a modern mixed-use complex, Talatona Plaza integrates residential units with ground-floor commercial spaces and extensive parking facilities, reflecting a contemporary approach to urban living where housing, services, and daily amenities coexist within the same development.

The project comprises four residential blocks, each rising nine floors above ground, with a commercial level at ground floor and two underground parking levels designed to ensure accessibility and convenience for residents and visitors. In total, the development includes 162 autonomous units, consisting of 128 residential apartments, 20 commercial and service spaces, as well as storage areas and a significant number of parking spaces.

By combining residential accommodation with retail and services in a single integrated complex, Talatona Plaza Residence anticipated the urban growth that would later transform Talatona into one of Luanda’s principal residential and business hubs. The project reflects the Irmãos Chaves group’s long-standing experience in construction and real estate development, as well as its capacity to participate in large-scale projects beyond Portugal.
